Heyyy :) SO I know the past few posts have been kinda emo and 'bleh' but heres a post that is a bit happier haha! I will be telling you the things I have been loving recently and yup!
So firstly, I think I have totally found my favourite song ever. you know like when people ask you whats you favourite song? I will always be like 'I actually don't know' But hey. guess what? I THINK I FOUND MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE! Its not like a totally new song but it has over 12 million views on youtube and I'm actually listening to it right now. Its called 'King of anything' by Sara Bareillies. I know her name is not THAT famous but I swear her songs are the most amazing. I mean I would totally turn to T-swizzle when I need a little romance and fairytale in my life. but most of the time I just need some type of encouragement. Sara Bareillies is definitely the person I would search up. Her songs are so relatable in such a different way. She seems to perfectly describe life into lyrics. Do go search this song up.
It has such a cheerful vibe to it that it just makes me smile. I particularly like the part when she says 'you've got opinions, man. we're all entitled to. but I never asked.' I swear I laugh everytime I hear it. Its so true and its definitely one of those things where you think in your head but never show through our actions/words. Oh and when she says 'Don't expect me to jump up on board with you, ride off into your delusional sunset' omg thats just like owning every single person that tries to make us do something they THINK is right for us. so definitely go check it out and i'm sure you will love it! To make things easier for you.. Sara Bareillies- King Of Anything
Another thing i have been loving lately is.. wait for it... reading. YES! reading. HAHAH! I didnt read much from p4 till p6 and I can't believe how much i have been missing out on. The other day I decided to make a list of books to read and after having some recommendations and stuff, I had 135 books on my 'to-read' list. So far I think I have read around 2 out of the 135 and I'm working on my third one. I think i'm starting to become a real bookworm.. oops I mean book lion! (If anyone knows where I got this from your awesome haha) Heres a vid about 'bookworms' I found that really made laugh Bookworm
The first book was 'Safe Haven' by Nicholas Sparks which was a good read but not as good as 'The Notebook' which I read earlier in the year.
Safe Haven was one of the books that could really make my heart pound when it came to the climax and I was so 'tuned in' with the book that I was even paranoid that the psycho husband would come for me. If you guys are totally lost right now, then its okay I'll explain haha. Safe Haven is basically about this girl that had a really abusive husband. She always had hope that he would stop hurting her because he always said he would. But of course he didn't. So the book explains how she finally managed to run away to her very own 'safe haven' where she finds her true love. Heres a review that I found but it does have some spoilers so be prepared! Safe Haven Review (Theres also a movie out for this one but I have yet to watch it)
The second one was 'Perks of being a wallflower' by Stephen Chbosky.
This book has some parts that really describe my life really well and the fact that it was written in the view of the 'wallflower', it definitely gave me a whole new perspective of the book. So overall, I LOVED IT! I'm excited to watch the movie but I'm really afraid it would change the 'perfect' story that I have drawn out in my head. Honestly, I dont think movies really give the books justice. Heres the review: TPOBAW Review
The third one(which I am reading now) is 'Paper Towns' by John Green.
The first few pages was actually not really appealing and I didn't really understand it but as I went on, I really started getting engrossed in it haha. I can't really tell you guys how I feel about it right now because I'm only a 100 pages in out of the idk 500? So yea! But heres a review I found Paper Towns Review
