Late night thoughts

Hey guys! It's the night before my math exam aka my last main subject exam. I'll just have art and drama left after tomorrow. I am so glad it's going to be over soon.

Anyways I just have a lot on my mind and since I haven't posted as frequently as I used to due to exams, I thought I'd make a blog post on it.

I just feel like the whole cycle is happening again. The whole feeling where I am left out and treated as if I'm less... And the familiar stinging pain comes back, a pain I haven't felt for a few months now. Maybe it's because of the exam stress but I don't know.

There's no sense of security with friends. Not all of my friends... But most. I worry and I always get this feeling that they are going to turn their backs on me just like so many other people have done before. I know I'm not paranoid... Because I can see it happening before my very eyes.

I'll be much happier after I can get back to being my normal self... Where I will not have to stress myself out everyday for exams and when I can have time to vent out my frustrations. When I can do the things I enjoy doing and make me happy so I wouldn't care nor think about these petty things or people that probably won't be in my life in a few months time when I change classes and classmates.

Anyways, I know some of you have just started your exams and I wish you guys all the best. Do drop me a comment or a question in my askfm anytime you like! I would love to get to know more of my readers. (:

Thank you for reading! Goodnight!

"If men don’t have to be aggressive in order to be accepted women won’t feel compelled to be submissive. If men don’t have to control, women won’t have to be controlled. Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong… It is time that we all perceive gender on a spectrum not as two opposing sets of ideals."

Colour Run 2014!

{this post was made in advance to my exams so I'm sorry for the lack of posts recently!}

Hey you guys!

So I mentioned a few posts back that I went for Colour Run 2014 and as I was scrolling through my pictures and saw the pictures from the event I was just kind of "wait have I done a blog post on this yet?"

So I came on here and I realised I didn't I mean dude who doesn't blog about the colour run... maybe I'm just a blogging maniac but either way... HERE IT IS!

For those who know all about colour run, perfect, for those who don't, don't worry CLL has got yo back. The Colour Run is a super fun 5km marathon but the thing is, it is untimed and you don't have to be worrying about all the stressful weeks of training that comes along with other normal marathons. Basically, you're just there to have fun. Every kilometre, coloured powder is thrown at you... what else can I say.... It's just a whole day of fun I guarantee.

I went to the Colour Run with 2 of my really good friends Angie and Jolynn. I went to the colour run last year and had a blast and Jolynn was there with me as well (: I shall not say too much here are the pictures!

ootd!

I met this beautiful one that day!!! She's super sweet and seeing you was great Jeanie! <3

Yup! That's it! I didn't take as many pictures and videos as last year because of 3
 reasons(calculative much? xD):

1) already made a Colour Run video last year
2) No Kevan to take pictures for us  (Kevan was a guy that came with us last year and he took so many pictures for us omg haha!)
3) My phone got no more space -_-'''

-

I just wanted to thank Jo and babygie for coming with me and having a great time with me! it was so fun dancing at the end and spraining my ankle. Yes people I sprained my ankle dancing I'm quite hardcore. And walking around the entire mall, eating dinner and giving wet wipes to any colour runners we see.

THAT'S THAT OKAY THANKS FOR READING!!!

SEE YA!

Save The Dolphins

We watch TV documentaries, shows and movies about the cruel mistreatment of animals and we say we would never condone this. This is unacceptable. I would never ever do this. We disgust it, look down on it.

But we never really know when it's happening in our own backyard.

It is very easy to have blind spots due to all the things we are taught from a very young age. It is the things we are taught that allows us to differentiate right from wrong. We grew up to where we are now with a sense of pride for our country. Of course, I speak for the majority. I do feel pride for my country and it is very easy to think that this country that we live and look up to so much, can do no wrong.

Can something as easy as going to the newest and hottest resort in town be wrong?
 "It's so fun!" says everyone.
"You have to go!" says everyone.

But do you really? If you look at it in a different perspective, would you want to?

Resorts World Sentosa.

25 dolphins were captured so as to be a part of this resort. So as to be a part of what we call "entertainment". And if we want to look at it in this way, so that people can make money.

We look at the ocean to be this infinite paradise of undiscovered wonders. It's beautiful and vast. Just as we see the land, sea creatures see the ocean as their home. Imagine being taken away from this vast universe, and being kept in a concrete box where 4 walls surround you. You get to the other side with just two flicks of a tail and you circle around the same path every single day. That is not freedom. That is not justice. That's cruelty.

Activist Richard O'Barry came over to Singapore sometime ago and tried to convince people to set these dolphins free. RWS denied his request for a meeting as they already knew his aim was to get them to free the dolphins. They claimed that they are happy and are no way mistreated. Not only have 4 dolphins died so far, simply being put in a concrete cage is already mistreatment.

We don't think about these matters a lot. Because majority of the time we are thinking about how to get A on your test, for all the teenagers out there. And some people might even be questioning why the heck I'm caring so much about this.

My answer will be "Why not?". Why should I not care about the things that happens in the world and why should I not care about things that are important to me. The fact that living creatures are being taken away from their natural habitat to serve the purpose of pure entertainment is something that should make us get on our feet and try to do something about it.

So how do I do something about it?

Stop buying tickets to whatever program or place that makes use of live animals.
Simply by not buying tickets, it decreases their demand and hence their want to expand this industry. Animals are not an industry and they are not at our disposal.

The fact that we can't communicate with them does not mean they can't feel or think.

Also, do like "ACRES: Animal Concerns Research and Education Society(Singapore)" on Facebook to spread the message of animal cruelty. They are an amazing organisation that work against the status quo to do whats right.

Thank you.

Family Outings & Photoshoots!

We are quite the people for photos.

Anytime.

Anywhere.

Recently, my sister and I have been obsessed with the new Kallang Wave Mall because it has all our fav stores, good food and beautiful scenery. We went once on our own and then we dragged our mom along to have a family outing to celebrate my birthday hehe (:

We took LOADS of pictures and I wanted to share them with you guys!

Being silly infront of the camera(no actually, everywhere) is kind of my thing.
