Recent fun events:)

Well hello there :) It's been a while since I last posted but I have so much to tell you guys about! I'll be going off for my overseas vacation so hopefully this post will keep you guys 'entertained' while I'm gone hehe :P

Two weeks ago(1 November)(I know, totally overdue blogpost haha), I went ice skating with some of my beloved friends- Lauren, Jolynn and Darelene...

So yea, we had a lot of fun and it was so amazing catching up with those people :) My feet was hurting a lot but it was definitely worth it because I haven't gone ice skating in almost forever!

A week after that(6 November), Annika and Jolynn came over to my house after walking around Tampines for a bit and we filmed a youtube video and just had some quality time together :) You guys might remember these two beauties from my colour run post and they are absolute sweethearts so it was so so fun getting to see Annika and Jolynn!

The gorgeous Annika also has her very own blog as well so go check her out!!!

Aaannd on the 8th of November, I went to go and visit the amazing Angie! She was getting really lonely at home so we decided that I go over and play dance central. Ya know, have fun yet lose them fats at the same time haha! We danced for like 2 hours and I consumed so much water. Water at that point tasted so amazing... and maybe Angie's water just tastes really good for some reason haha!

I'm sorry we look so wacky! It's dance central after all ^_~

Oh wait, no no, I'm not done yet! On the 13th of November, I went out and had a sleepover with mah babes!!! You guys have no idea how much I love them omg! I don't think they have been in many of my blogposts(shocker), but they are my besties and the one that looks more American is Isabelle and the one who looks more Indian is Karisha!

 Train station selfies!

They sleep hard...

Did I mention that we had matching pi's?
Deeply in love <3

Shake it, shake it like a polaroid picture ^_~

And we watched 3 movies at once and me and Karisha watched another one the next day haha! But my favourite was 'Remember Me' which had the one and only Rob Pattinson in it (OMG FEELS!) and I cried while watching and I went home and wrote a song about it. So go and watch it because my heart melted!

The really sad thing is, that sleepover is probably the last time I will be able to see/spend time with Isabelle :( She's going back to San Francisco and hopefully going to get into an amazing High School that she is working so hard for. I will miss her so much and BELLE! If you are reading this, I love you to the moon and back :)

Okay guys, this is the last one!!! Yesterday was my school's open house and I must say, it was pretty rad. Got my face painted and became a leopard printed panda and made cotton candy!!!

I definitely went all out in the 'carnival' spirit. I didn't get to take any pictures of the cotton candy making though :( But it was definitely something to remember!

I know it was a lot of events in one blogpost but I really hope you enjoyed reading it :)
Thank you for reading and LOVE YA!!!

#SaveTheReef

BOO!
I'm back. Yes, hello :)

I wanted to start on something that I have always wanted to do. But always put off. You know there are people and stories that tell you that although you can dream and fantasise, you also need to put  dreams in action. I always believed and agreed with that, but yet again I don't do anything about it. As you guys may have noticed in my previous posts, I am a big lover of nature. I absolutely love greenery and flowers and animals. And I have noticed the world changing. Changing to a world of efficiency and less labor. But also changing into a world of machines, greenhouse gases and climate change. We need to actually take the time to notice that humans are actually killing trees and plants and organisms for short term profits.
Today, I was scrolling through tumblr and I read this long passage of many many people commenting on a picture of the great barrier reef. And it was after I read it that I realised that such a treasure of our earth is going to become a coal export terminal where 3 million tones of mud will be dumped into its waters- where millions of species of organisms live. I did all my research and decided to take action. All I really needed to do was go onto savethereef.org.au and 'sign' the petition. I took a step further by broadcasting a message to all my friends to ask them to do the same and to trend #savethereef on twitter and on Facebook. To tell you in detail of exactly what is happening, here's a pretty informative page that tells you pretty much all you need to know : Save the reef . If you want to know more about what is happening, you can go ahead and google it :)

But please please please don't allow this...

To become this...

The Great Barrier Reef is so much more than just another coal terminal. I and many others will not allow this priceless natural heritage to go to waste. It is a home for so many plants and animals. It is a habitat. It is an entire ecosystem. It really hit me hard because just a few days ago I was writing in my '101 dreams' notebook and dream number 31 was to see the Great Barrier Reef. Not from photos or from videos or from books. But for real. And when I do see it for real, I want to be able to know that it would be safe and preserved.  I swear you guys I was literally close to tears when I found out haha. Might be because I was so angry or so worked up but yea it was pretty intense.

This was what was outside my house 1 and a half to 2 years ago.

And this, is what is outside my house now.

This, everyone, is the perfect example as the how the world is changing for the worst. If you really think about it, isn't that disgusting? Everyday I wake up, I see that image before me. Everyday all I hear is the machinery and the sounds of the workers shouting at each other outside. And in probably a years time, all I would be looking at when I look out my window is someone else's bedroom.

We are changing too fast and we expect the world to keep up. But we keep adding on and adding on and making things worse and worse that even if all this does stop, the world would already be far too broken & damaged to be as serene as it was 10 years ago. Please take a stand to save our earth. Save the Great Barrier Reef by going to savethereef.org.au and trend #savethereef on twitter and Facebook. This is the first major nature project I am going to work on and I'm going to continue to make as much as a difference as I can. SAVE THE EARTH WITH CLL!

Thanks! LOVE YA!

My "up to's" || CyberTalk

Hey there! I'm back with yet another 'Cyber Talking' post.
AND YEA I TOTALLY MADE THIS A SERIES. So everything like that I wanna update you guys about whether is it about school or recent loves or what I have been up to will all be under the 'Cyber Talking' series. I don't even know how I got this 'Cyber Talking' idea. Just coz I mentioned 'Cyber Talk' in a previous post. Guys, I just said 'Cyber Talking' 5 times in the last 20 seconds upon writing this post. Wow.

So I just wanted to update you guys on what I have been doing, how I have been feeling and my recent loves & hates. LET'S JUMP INTO IT THEN!

My Final Year Exams just finished about a week or two ago and we haven't had any work to do at all, of course if we did, students would probably go on a rampage for child rights. We had 2 days of holiday after the exams because they had to mark our papers. Then after that we came back to school and apparently, we had Chinese camp, counsellor's session and all those boring activities set up for us. Literally, almost all we did all day was sit in the hall for two hours at a time, listening and watching. It got really tiring and boring so I pretty much read my book throughout the day.

OH WHICH REMINDS ME! I finally finished 'Paper Towns' by John Green. I think I started reading this book around 4-5 weeks back and I only finished it around 2 days ago. I have always loved John Green's books but this time it was wayy too lengthy for my liking. The first 200 pages or so were interesting but soon it was just another 200 pages of the missing Margo Roth Spiegelman(SPOILER ALERT!) It was too draggy and 'bleh' for me haha! I don't know about what others think but it's my personal opinion on this book.

Right now, I have already started on another John Green book called 'Fault In Our Stars'. Many people have read it and have raved about this book so much. I know it's pretty mainstream because everyone is reading it but whatever. A book's a book. Just reading it coz I want to haha! So I'm already about 190 pages in and it's really interesting. I really like how John Green is so perfectly able to 'become' the character in the book. The book also includes so many wise words that weird people like me really like haha. As I had tweeted the other day 'books are like my escape to cheesiness'.

Anndd because I have been reading a lot lately, I have come across loads of words I haven't seen before. So, like the nerd that I am, I started continuing my word bank(for those who don't know, word banks are basically our personal dictionaries where we write down meanings of words we don't know & stuff).. *insert embarrassed emoji here*

Haha! Yea.. I have been really bored and everything so I found 'joy' in writing all this stuff down and apparently learning things in my somewhat unproductive past few weeks.
I was so bored I even googled 'Useful Things To During My Free Time'. I facepalm myself. But yea, that's me.

Anyways, I really wanted to include my favourite show at the moment which is.. RUNNING MAN! I never thought I would actually like running man but after I started laughing so hard that I got scolded after watching it during computer class the other day, I knew it was made for me. I actually started watching from episode 150 but after I ran out of episodes to watch, I went all the way back to episode 1 oops! I have been watching non-stop, it's not even normal anymore :P Really needa stop with this addiction before it gets way out of hand...

TIME FOR MUSIC LOVES!
Guys, am I the only one who randomly searches up songs on Youtube and starts clicking whatever songs on the recommendation bar that has a significant amount of views? I AM 73% SURE I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE! So, I was doing just that the other day and I have fallen in love with the following songs....

Home- Phillip Phillips
Gone, Gone, Gone- Phillip Phillips
Little Talks- Of Monsters & Men
Let Her Go- Passenger
It's Time- Imagine Dragons

Most of them are really country or have more of a peaceful vibe to it instead of really upbeat and perky. Not that I am in a really bad mood or whatever, I just somehow really liked them. Especially 'Let Her Go'. It makes me feel really 'at peace' and I take walks, stretch & think to this song a lot. I even learned the guitar picking pattern because I loved it so much. All these songs are great especially when I'm alone and just walking home or to the bus stop or something like that. I don't know but everything will just seem to go slow-motion and it really feels like I'm in a dream or movie or flashback. Something along those lines. I really love 'It's Time' because it was used in the 'Perks Of Being A Wallflower' trailer(which I watched the movie and it didn't really give the book justice but whatever) and everytime I hear the song it will just 'empower' me and I will immediately think of this quote 'And in that moment I swear we were infinite'. <3 gah feels :)

So yea, that is pretty much all I have been doing lately :) Hope you guys liked this blogpost and please do contact me through my social networking sites for blog post requests. THANKS! LOVE YA!
