My "up to's" || CyberTalk

Hey there! I'm back with yet another 'Cyber Talking' post.
AND YEA I TOTALLY MADE THIS A SERIES. So everything like that I wanna update you guys about whether is it about school or recent loves or what I have been up to will all be under the 'Cyber Talking' series. I don't even know how I got this 'Cyber Talking' idea. Just coz I mentioned 'Cyber Talk' in a previous post. Guys, I just said 'Cyber Talking' 5 times in the last 20 seconds upon writing this post. Wow.

So I just wanted to update you guys on what I have been doing, how I have been feeling and my recent loves & hates. LET'S JUMP INTO IT THEN!

My Final Year Exams just finished about a week or two ago and we haven't had any work to do at all, of course if we did, students would probably go on a rampage for child rights. We had 2 days of holiday after the exams because they had to mark our papers. Then after that we came back to school and apparently, we had Chinese camp, counsellor's session and all those boring activities set up for us. Literally, almost all we did all day was sit in the hall for two hours at a time, listening and watching. It got really tiring and boring so I pretty much read my book throughout the day.

OH WHICH REMINDS ME! I finally finished 'Paper Towns' by John Green. I think I started reading this book around 4-5 weeks back and I only finished it around 2 days ago. I have always loved John Green's books but this time it was wayy too lengthy for my liking. The first 200 pages or so were interesting but soon it was just another 200 pages of the missing Margo Roth Spiegelman(SPOILER ALERT!) It was too draggy and 'bleh' for me haha! I don't know about what others think but it's my personal opinion on this book.

Right now, I have already started on another John Green book called 'Fault In Our Stars'. Many people have read it and have raved about this book so much. I know it's pretty mainstream because everyone is reading it but whatever. A book's a book. Just reading it coz I want to haha! So I'm already about 190 pages in and it's really interesting. I really like how John Green is so perfectly able to 'become' the character in the book. The book also includes so many wise words that weird people like me really like haha. As I had tweeted the other day 'books are like my escape to cheesiness'.

Anndd because I have been reading a lot lately, I have come across loads of words I haven't seen before. So, like the nerd that I am, I started continuing my word bank(for those who don't know, word banks are basically our personal dictionaries where we write down meanings of words we don't know & stuff).. *insert embarrassed emoji here*

Haha! Yea.. I have been really bored and everything so I found 'joy' in writing all this stuff down and apparently learning things in my somewhat unproductive past few weeks.
I was so bored I even googled 'Useful Things To During My Free Time'. I facepalm myself. But yea, that's me.

Anyways, I really wanted to include my favourite show at the moment which is.. RUNNING MAN! I never thought I would actually like running man but after I started laughing so hard that I got scolded after watching it during computer class the other day, I knew it was made for me. I actually started watching from episode 150 but after I ran out of episodes to watch, I went all the way back to episode 1 oops! I have been watching non-stop, it's not even normal anymore :P Really needa stop with this addiction before it gets way out of hand...

TIME FOR MUSIC LOVES!
Guys, am I the only one who randomly searches up songs on Youtube and starts clicking whatever songs on the recommendation bar that has a significant amount of views? I AM 73% SURE I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE! So, I was doing just that the other day and I have fallen in love with the following songs....

Home- Phillip Phillips
Gone, Gone, Gone- Phillip Phillips
Little Talks- Of Monsters & Men
Let Her Go- Passenger
It's Time- Imagine Dragons

Most of them are really country or have more of a peaceful vibe to it instead of really upbeat and perky. Not that I am in a really bad mood or whatever, I just somehow really liked them. Especially 'Let Her Go'. It makes me feel really 'at peace' and I take walks, stretch & think to this song a lot. I even learned the guitar picking pattern because I loved it so much. All these songs are great especially when I'm alone and just walking home or to the bus stop or something like that. I don't know but everything will just seem to go slow-motion and it really feels like I'm in a dream or movie or flashback. Something along those lines. I really love 'It's Time' because it was used in the 'Perks Of Being A Wallflower' trailer(which I watched the movie and it didn't really give the book justice but whatever) and everytime I hear the song it will just 'empower' me and I will immediately think of this quote 'And in that moment I swear we were infinite'. <3 gah feels :)

So yea, that is pretty much all I have been doing lately :) Hope you guys liked this blogpost and please do contact me through my social networking sites for blog post requests. THANKS! LOVE YA!
