CLL's Top 5 Role Models

Hey hey :D How are you guys doing today? I woke up at like 7 am today because I realised it had been raining.. plus if you know me well enough, you'll know how much I love rain :P

Anyways, on to my 'Top 5 Role Models'. This was a requested topic and thank you to the person that requested this <3 (and lets take the chance to thank some of my readers.. THANKS ILY!)
Do request more topics and I will try my best to blog on them. Should I make this a series? Like 'CLL's Top ____ ? Maybe I should... haha. Oh btw, the topic suggested was actually 'Top 10 role models' but I don't think I actually have 10 role models and it would be wayy too long especially because elaborations were wanted.

So I actually don't know if I would actually call them 'role models'. I feel like it is fine to have role models to look up to because of their personalities etc. But please, don't look up to someone just because they have 'a perfect figure' or they are just pretty. Doing this will just make you feel really pissed about yourself when you compare to people who look like barbie dolls with a full face of make-up piled on them especially if you are a person with many insecurities.

Now, I will just get on with it haha...

1) Jenn Im
As you guys know, I am a youtube addict as well as a youtuber myself so of course, I would watch loads and loads of videos from many many people. However, one of the few people I look up to the most(both on youtube & in the outside world) is Jenn Im aka clothesencounters on youtube. If you are not familiar with the name, you might have seen this face somewhere if you watched her vids before.

Not only is she b-e-a-u-tiful, she has a beautiful personality as well. She's different and unique from all the other youtubers and she encourages independence and self-worth. Jenn is Korean American and has just recently graduated from college. She has her very own apartment as well as her own job, youtube. She has a soft spot for thifted clothes, shoes and vintage items. I look up to her because she embraces everything she has with such elegance and grace though her style is edgy and different. She's also not afraid to try out new styles and is not afraid about other people judging her. Of course, her sense of style is just as amazing as her personality.

2)Miranda Kerr
Oh my gosh guys. Can we just take a moment to drool over how gorgeous this woman is? Well that, my friends, is the one and only Miranda Kerr. Okay, she is one of my all time favourite people because not only is she a top Victoria Secret Angel, she's also a loving wife and mother. When we talk about models, most of the time we think about amazing hair, flawless face, fit & toned body so on and so forth. Miranda ticks all of those boxes. Basically, she's the whole package. But in contrast to many other models, she truly cares about nutrition and taking care of herself. She eats right and makes the effort to make sure her family has the best of the best.
Shockingly, she's a certified nutritionist and before she even became a model, she was pretty much on her way into the whole 'food'/'nutrition' business. Oh wait. That's not all she does. SHE'S A WRITER AS WELL. She has her very own book 'Treasure Yourself' published. I have not read it yet but it's definitely in my 'to read' list. It's basically about eating right, staying fit as well as taking care and 'treasuring' yourself. A top model, nutritionist, writer, mom & wife = amazingness. Also, she's one of the fashion icons that I look up to a lot and steal a lot of ideas from. She also carries herself with such maturity, grace and elegance that it is almost impossible to hate her. Woahh this sounds like I am writing a magazine on Miranda Kerr haha!

3) Zoe Sugg
Surprise surprise! Another Youtuber haha. We are taking over England territory right now.
You might also know Zoe as Zoella on youtube. And as you can see, she's gorgeous. She has such a beautiful heart and she is the perfect example of someone who has gotten back on their feet after numerous set backs. Zoe has had anxiety since she was 14 if I am not wrong and the best thing is that she makes use of her following on youtube to spread awareness on this. She makes blog posts and videos that can potentially help someone dealing with anxiety. She branches out into many other topics like 'saying yes' and trying out new things. She also appreciates her fans very much. ANDDD I WUV HER!

4)Demi Lovato
Okay I know I will get a whole lot of questions from this one because if you know me fairly well, you'll know that I really like Taylor Swift. Honestly, I guess I only like her music and nice personality towards her fans and stuff. Nothing else very special pops out about her..
So I find Demi my forth top role model because as most of us all know, she went through a lot of tough times and about a year ago, she started going to the psychiatrist and she also made known to the world about her vulnerable side. She started cutting and hurting herself since she was 12 years old because she had been bullied and throughout her life, other things had been put first, everything before her personal well being.
I have heard people argue that she shouldn't get the credit she has for making this public because 'there are other people that are suffering yet are able to get through it without saying a word' or something along those lines. I think it's great that she made this side of her public, to let her fans know that she is real and imperfect and that she is a human. She also supports standing up to bullying and uses her story to inspire people. She deserves all the love and credit she has. Other than that, I also love love love her music.

5)Ariana Grande

Over the past few months, I have really been a huge Ariana Grande fan. Even before that, she was my favourite of the cast from Victorious so of course, she would be one of my role models. I think that Ariana is more of a musical and fashion role model for me. I enjoy her music a whole lot and her songs are always on repeat. Even her older songs like 'Popular Song ft Mika' are timeless and I just love the catchy-ness of it. My fav song of hers will definitely be 'Almost is never enough ft Nathan Sykes'. It's the first song I will play on my ipod every morning on the way to the bus stop. It's so relatable and of course her voice is so velvety yet strong AND I LOVE IT! I also really look up to her for her sense of style. She is all about dresses, circle skirts and crop tops. She also has a really girly style which is awesome. She also seems like a genuinely nice person and she's also very quiet and modest. Of course, I also love her acting as 'Cat' on Victorious and Sam & Cat.

So yup, those were my top 5 role models :)
These people are my favs for now but I don't know whether they will change in time
I will try to make a blog post on my top 5 FASHION role models in my fashion blog so stay tuned for that :)
THAT'S IT! Thank you so much to all my loyal readers who have made my blog pageviews shoot up to 600. Might not be a lot for some people but it's a lot for me!
THANKS & LOVE YA!

signing out...
